In this spirit, we are excited and honored to organize the fourth edition of the International Menemen Pottery Festival, which will take place between September 5 and 7, 2025. During the previous three festivals, we shared unforgettable moments with pottery masters, academics, artists, and art enthusiasts from both Turkey and abroad. The positive feedback we received from around the world confirmed once again that we are taking the right steps on this journey.

The International Menemen Pottery Festival grows each year not only in the number of participants but also in its content and scope. This year, we are moving forward with even more. With exhibitions, workshops, panels, and performances that blend traditional pottery with contemporary art, we are turning Menemen into a true meeting point of culture and art. THE HÜNERLİ ELLER POTTERY COMPETİTİON

The Hünerli Eller Pottery Competition, organized as part of the International Menemen Pottery Festival, will be held on September 6 and 7, 2025, over the course of two days at Menemen City Park. Closely followed with great excitement each year, the competition will once again bring together participants who skillfully reflect both the technical and aesthetic dimensions of pottery.

ÇÖMLEĞİN İZ’İNDE PHOTO CONTEST

Organized as part of the International Menemen Pottery Festival, the Çömleğin İz’inde Photo Contest once again turns its lens toward the ancient lands of Menemen. Aiming to merge the deep-rooted history, production process and masterful tradition of Menemen pottery with the art of photography, the contest seeks to build a lasting visual archive while inspiring young photographers.

THE HEMHAL ARTİSTİC CERAMİCS COMPETİTİON AND EXHİBİTİON

The Hemhal Artistic Ceramics Competition and Exhibition, organized by Menemen Municipality, aims to bring together all artists, artisans and young talents who are devoted to the art of ceramics. The main objective of the competition is to support ceramic art, to bridge traditional craftsmanship with contemporary art, and to encourage especially young artists to create, thereby contributing to the cultural and economic life of Menemen.

This year’s panel, organized as part of the International Menemen Pottery Festival, will be held under the title “From the Natural Habitat of Art, Abundance and Taste.” The panel will take place on September 5, 2025, at Menemen City Park and will explore the profound connection between pottery, art, gastronomy and nature.

ALTERNATIVE FIRING TECHNIQUE DEMONSTRATIONS

The alternative firing technique demonstrations, featuring the participation of many local and international ceramic artists, will once again meet the audience this year at Menemen City Park. These special demonstrations, carried out using various methods beyond traditional techniques, will offer a unique experience for anyone interested in the art of pottery.

WORKSHOP ACTIVITIES

The workshop activities to be held on September 5, 6 and 7, 2025 at Menemen City Park will be one of the most vibrant and participant-focused parts of the festival. These events, centered around the art shaped by clay, will offer participants the opportunity to create their own handmade pieces under the guidance of expert artists and academics.

STREET MARKET STALLS

As part of the 4th International Menemen Pottery Festival, which will take place between September 5 and 7, 2025, you can reserve your place at the street market stalls. Open throughout the festival, these stalls will allow artists and business owners to showcase and sell their handmade pottery, ceramics, tiles, glass, and sculpture products.
